In the Yarmouk camp in Damascus, vaccines campaign against polio started in Palestine hospital, and it is scheduled to include about a thousand children under five years old.
The campaign begun after the security forces and the Syrian army allowed UNRWA to enter a quantity of vaccines against Polio, which, in turn, provide vaccines for the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in the camp.
It is worth mentioning that the Yarmouk camp is suffering from an acute shortage of all medical and emergency materials because of the continued siege imposed by the regular army and PFGC groups for (878) days respectively.
