Released Detainees: 4 Palestinians Died due to Torture

A number of former detainees in the Syrian regime's prisons confirmed that four Palestinian refugees died under torture in the Syrian prisons.

The Documentation Center for Palestinian Detainees and Missing People in Syria received a list of names for the refugees and their specifications by detainees were released, they were witnesses to their deaths in the Syrian security branches.

The victims are:

The Palestinian Syrian youth "Bilal" from (Damascus suburb - Sasa), the oldest of his brothers; he  is married and has two children, died under torture in Palestine Branch235, an elderly Palestinian Syrian, aged approximately 60 years from Yarmouk and was arrested after he fled from the Yarmouk refugee camp in (Damascus - Almaydan), diabetic, works in Milk and cheeses factory, died in Palestine Branch235, the Palestinian Syrian youth "Abu Rashid" nearly 30 years; heis married and has two children, he died under torture at the Palestine Branch 235, and "Salah al-Ahmad" Palestinian Syrian, aged approximately 40 years, died under torture in Fayhaa branch.

It is noteworthy that the AGPS documented 427 victims who died due to torture in the prisons of the Syrian regime, while 1016 is still detained in the prisons of the Syrian regime and their fate is unknown.
