Four Afghani refugee children died following the sinking of their boat off the Turkish coast. According to the Anatolia agency, the boat was carrying 55 migrants from Syria - Palestinian Syrian refugees are likely to be among them - and Afghanistan, where their boat sank while trying to reach the Greek Island (Lesbos).
In the same context, Anatolia agency confirmed that the Turkish Coast Guard was able to rescue 357 refugees from drowning during the last 24 hours.
It is worth mentioning that the Turkish coast is the starting point for hundreds of boats carrying refugees fleeing from the war in Syria to Europe.
