258 refugees died in Al-Yarmouk camp before the entering of armed opposition forces in 2012.

The Monitoring and documentation team in AGPS had documented (258) Palestinian victims from the Yarmouk camp in the period between 15 March 2011 and 16 December 2012 which is the period before the entry of Syrian opposition forces to the camp.

The statistics indicated that there are (77) Palestinian refugees died as a result of direct gunshots, and 138 died as a result of mortar shelling and missiles and military aircraft "Mig" and during targeting Al-Ja'una neighborhood on 2 August 2012 and Abdul-Qader al-Husseini Mosque on 16 December 2012 as well, while 17 refugees were executed or burned to death, in addition to dozens of victims caused by kidnappings and assassinations without specifying who was responsible for it.

It should be noted that (1018) victims from Al-Yarmouk refugee camp died since the beginning of the conflict in Syria.
