In western Damascus Suburb, many activists and people from Khan Eshieh Camp warned, via facebook pages, of crossing Khan Eshieh – Zakiya road since it is being targeted frequently by heavy submachine guns.
Khan Eshieh – Zakiya road considered to be the last open artery to feed the besieged camp, most of the camp's residents are obliged to pass through that road in spite of the high risk. People were frequently targeted while passing that road even they nicknamed it as "The Death Road". It is noteworthy that the AGPS has documented 141 victims from Khan Eshieh camp since the beginning of the war, many of them were killed in that particular road.
