Palestinians in Lebanon Committee issues press release against UNRWA cuts.

In Lebanon, the Committee of Palestinians in Lebanon demanded the UNRWA to immediate retreat of its last decisions regarding decreasing the services of health sector, and prompted it to reconsider the past decisions of food aid cuts and shelter aid cuts.

The Committee assured in its press release, which AGPS received a copy of it, that it is "part of peaceful popular activities in support of Palestinian refugees' demands" and warned of the risks of such decisions on all refugees' life aspects.

In the last of its press release, the Committee stressed its full refusal of any decision the UNRWA could take that would aggravate the suffering of the refugees, and demanded the agency to keep up its role in preserving the refugees' dignity until they can return back to their homeland in Palestine.
