Activists revealed new information about some Palestinians detainees in Syrian prisons. According to testimonies provided by released prisoners, the presence of some Palestinians in enforced disappearance has been revealed in the infamous Sednaya military prison. The prisoners are "Ebraheem Mohamed Almousa", "Ahmad Hosain Mahmoud", "Mousa Ebraheem Abu Taha" and "Imad Ebraheem Abu Taha", in addition to "Mohamed Jameel Tanjy", "Abdullah Akram Hasan", "Alaa Sameer Farhoud" and "Ehab Farooq Sala'al" from Yarmook camp.
Sednaya prison is considered the most infamous place in Syria. The prison, located in the mountains of Sednaya town north of the Syrian capital of Damascus, is blocked in the face of the human rights organisations to visit it. The capacity of the prison is around 15,000 prisoners, and it is likely that hundreds of Palestinian detainees in this prison, activists said. It is indicated that AGPS documented 1034 Palestinian prisoner in enforced disappearance, and 431 have been tortured to death.
