Activists accused the Syrian regime of attempting to push Palestinians in the conflict, by recruiting a number of Palestinian youth. In the same context, the pro-regime media broadcasted few videos to what so-called: Palestinian fighter groups engaged in the battles in Shiek-Meskeen town in Dara'a and Daraya, Zabadany in Damascus. The videos showed groups from Palestine Liberation Army (PLR), but there is no an independent source to confirm the correctness of the information contained therein.
In its turn, PLR came under fire by activists, accusing the leadership of the army of deviating significantly from its real path, activist said. The activists called all Palestinian soldiers to refuse the fighting against any Syrian party. It is indicated that Palestinian refugees in Syria are subjected to the compulsory military service. However, Syrians or Palestinians who reject the service could be sentenced to death by the Syrian military court. Indicated that AGPS has documented 153 victim from PLR during the crisis in Syria since March 2011.
