In Daraya, west Damascus, a Palestinian fighter has been killed after clashes with opposition Syrian groups. Salem Khaled Salem, from Khan-Danoun camp, is a pro-regime fighter served in the fourth squad of Republican Guards. It is noteworthy that the fourth squad was limited to Syrian soldiers. However, in the light of the severe shortage of fighters during the Syrian crisis, many Palestinians were recruited to support this strong military squad. Sources noted recently, that many Palestinian fighters are sent to the front line causing several casualties in the last few months.
