Palestinian Activists:  Humanitarian Catastrophe will affect the Yarmouk Residents Due to the Food Aids Suspension.

A number of Palestinian activists at the Yarmouk camp in Damascus launched a distress call for each of; Mr. Michael Kingsley, Director of UNRWA in Syria, Mr. Abdullah Al Laham, Acting Director of UNRWA Affairs in Syria, Mrs. Basima Qasmani, Protocol Responsible of UNRWA, Mr. Ammar Jaaor, Disaster Management official in the Syrian Red Crescent, International Committee of the Red Cross in Syria, represented by Mr. Ralf Al Haj. The Distress call is for avoiding the humanitarian catastrophe that will affect the Yarmouk residents due to the suspension of food aids for the 6th week respectively.

The activists also demanded the entry of those aids through Yelda and Babila areas, which about 4.000 food baskets were entered through those areas by the SRC, while the activists pointed out that the road between the camp and those areas is safe and the food baskets can be entered through it in order to rescue the lives of the remaining residents.
