Hundreds of Palestinian refugees continue protesting against UNRWA cuts. In its turn, the NGOs in Lebanon held several meetings to arrange events to that end. Palestinians of Syria Committee contributed in the meetings in Sidon south Lebanon in 25th this month, while hundreds of Palestinians from Syria in Lebanon had participated in the wave of protests. The committee demanded UNRWA to back down from its recent decisions, warning from serious repercussions on the displaced Palestinians who fled Syria to Lebanon with no hope. The participants agreed to escalate the protest in the few coming days. It is worth mentioning that (42.5) thousands of Palestinians of Syria have been registered by UNRWA, while other unofficial statistics indicated to just (33) thousands.
