Researchers and experts have discussed the situation of Palestinians in Lebanon. The session, organised by Palestinian Return Centre PRC, addressed the poverty in the Palestinian camps in Lebanon in the light of the exacerbated crisis of Palestinians from Syria.
The session, titled "Poverty in Palestinian Refugee Camps: Challenges and Prospects" , was hosted by MP Ben Bradshaw inside the House of Commons in the British capital of London. PRC presented a new report about the topic focussing on the influx of Palestinians from Syria as the main factor of the current problem of Palestinians in Lebanon. The report indicated to UNRWA and the implications of the recent cuts. The speakers in the event focused on the plight of Palestinians from Syria through some case-studies.
In the meanwhile, Palestinian Return Centre and AGPS announced a new report to be published next week. The bilingual report, Arabic and English, provides the detailed situation of Palestinians of Syria from July-December 2015, the organisations said.
