FIDDER holds a consultative meeting to sort out the issue of PS refugees in Turkey

a meeting has been held in FIDDER association, Friday noon, with "Dr. Fayed Mustafa" the Ambassador of Palestine Authority in Turkey, concentrated on the mechanisms of action to sort out the issue of PS refugees in Turkey. The two parties referred to an agreement with the Turkish officials to prepare accurate census of PS refugees to settle their legal status and grant them residence permits.

FIDDER, which stands for "The Turkish Association in Solidarity with Palestine", alongside with the Embassy of Palestine, discussed the action plane to finalize the requested lists of names to be adopted by the Turkish Government.

It should be mentioned that, the number of PS in Turkey estimated at 6,000 to 8,000 refugees live in Istanbul and provinces of Anatolia and south Turkey, according to the last Semi-Annual report issued by the AGPS last August.
