Al-Yarmouk camp has witnessed sporadic clashes over the last few hours. The tension came in the wake of an assassination attempt of Abu Salem Al-Iraqi, the deputy of ISIS head in the camp. Al-Iraqi was targeted by a road-side bomb in Al-Hajar Al-Aswad south Al-Yarmouk camp.
The two rivals, Al-Nusra Front and ISIS, exchanged fire for several hours over the narrow streets in the camp. AGPS' sources said that ISIS expelled Al-Nusar from one of its sites of Zaher Al-hannoun in the heart of the camp.
The sources added that Al-Nusra fired shots at a motorcycle driver wearing military uniform, at Safad Street. These developments come under a widespread of fighters from the both parties over streets and the buildings in the camp.
