In Homs, "Amjad Sobhi Sarhan", a member of pro-Assad faction of PFLP-GC, was arrested in 28 January 2016. Sarhan had been arrested three times by Syrian security over the past two months. He is in his forties, originally descendant from Alshajara village in Palestine.
In the same context, "Maher Mostafa Mahmoud", was released by the Syrian security in 27 January 2016 after 7 days in jail. Mahmoud, in his forties, had been arrested in Al-Hamra neighbourhood while he was heading to receive the cash assistance of UNRWA from the bank. Another Palestinian, "Ayman Murad", was released in 21 January 2016 at the entrance of the camp of Homs after 7 days of arresting. Murad is in his thirties.
