In Syria, activists launched a social media campaign honouring the Palestinian victims who killed over the course of Syrian conflict. The campaign adopted the Arabic hash tag of #عرس_الشهداء means (wedding of martyrs).
"The goal of the campaign is mitigating the grief and frustration of Palestinian families resulted from losing their beloved ones, who were targeted by both parties of the conflict", a campaigner explained. The organizers demanded; pictures of victims to be used as profile photos on twitter and facebook.
