The Palestinian families in Qudsaya are suffering from a real tragedy as they are under the siege imposed by Assad regime. The siege influanced in the health and other living aspects, while the running out of the bread regarded as the key problem that families suffer from. In addition, the high cost of living bringing the price for 1 kg of bread to 325 S.P ($0.9).
The shortage of heating fuel is another problem in the city of Qudsaya. Where the price have increased for the diesel and firewood. Whereas, many kinds of medicines have run out in the besieged city. "Qudsaya is suffering from a severe food crisis owing to banning the basics to get in the city such as flour. The blockade has led to higher prices. Whilst accumulated piles of garbage in the streets warns of deteriorating of health sector", activist added.
One of the trapped people inside the city warns that babies' milk and other children needs are missing, and families have nothing to provide for their kids. He added that the district is heading to famine.
It is worth noting that the number of Palestinian families in Qudsaya is nearly (6000), most of them live in shelters as they could not afford the rent of flats.
