Palestine Charity Association continues providing medical services to residents of the Yarmouk camp and to displaced people in nearby villages.

Medical Department in "Palestine Charity Association" continues dispensing free medical prescriptions for the people of the Yarmouk refugee camp displaced to neighboring areas and to those inside the camp, assuring that, during the month of January only, nearly 1740 prescription were given free of charge, including a private typhoid recipes.

The "Palestine Charity Association" in 15 January 2016, distributed winter packages to about 200 pupils in Al-Quds and Al-Jarmaq school.

The Association also ended, on 25 January 2016, its project of distributing firewood to residents of the Yarmouk refugee camp, where approximately 900 Palestinian families benefited from this project, either inside the Yarmouk camp or outside, like those displaced to the nearby towns of Yalda and Babbila and beit sahem.

This comes after the UNRWA and other relief organizations stopped providing humanitarian assistance to the people of the Yarmouk refugee camp, who are still suffering from siege and starvation, in the light of the continuing war and the spread of unemployment, lack of financial resources.

It is noteworthy that the "Palestine Charity Commission" continues to provide services in spite of the closure of all of its offices inside the besieged camp.
