FIDDER starts registering names of PS refugees in Turkey.

The "Turkish Organisation in solidarity with Palestine FIDDER" has announced starting the census of Palestinian refugees displaced from Syria and Iraq to Turkey, which was announced earlier, to be given later on to the Turkish government, in order to settle the legal status and grant them official residence permits.

This procedure is expected to entitle the Palestinian refugees to job opportunities and ease of movement within the country.

FIDDER assured that it opened its doors yesterday to receive Palestinian refugees from Syria and Iraq to Turkey, to direct registeration, in cooperation with the Palestinian embassy in Turkey and under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister "Dr. Mohammad Murtaza Yatch".

It is noteworthy that, according to unofficial statistics, an approximate census of Palestinian-Syrian refugees in Turkey indicate that they count 6,000-8,000 refugees in Istanbul and the provinces of central and southern Turkey, this was mentioned in the AGPS' report: "The Palestinians of Syria's bloody diary and screaming inaudible" issued in August 2015.
