In southern Syria; the Palestinian refugees in Dara Camp explained their fears and concerns, after repetitive news referring to intensive preparations of regime's army and its militias to break into the region, including Deraa camp, while activists demanded people in the region to take full caution of aircraft shelling and to artillery and mortar shells considering it as a possible preliminary steps that could precede the storm.
It should be noticed that the Syrian security applies heavy security procedure on the PS refugees based in the opposition-controlled areas south of Syria, accuses them of favoring the opposition and providing assistance to opposition forces.
The camp has been targeted during the war by heavy shelling; artillery shells and tank shells by Syrian regime forces, causing considerable damage in the camps' homes and properties, and according to unofficial statistics, 70% of the camp's buildings are destroyed.
