Syrian security forces arrested in Homs City, last Saturday 13 of February 2016, a leadership member of "Fatah-Intifada" Palestinian movement in Al-Aydeen Camp of Home; the Palestinian refugee "Ziad Salim Al-Shaer" nick named “Abu Majed” while his sons fled to Turkey. Abu Majed is a resident of Wadi Addahab neighborhood, in his seventies, originally descendant of the city of Safed in Palestine.
It is noteworthy that the "Fatah al-Intifada" movement is a pro-Syrian regime Palestinian faction that have been fighting and participating in Syrian war since its beginning.
It should be mentioned that the Palestinian refugees in Homs in general are subjected to a security strict procedures and exposed to arrests frequently. The AGPS has documented (212) Palestinian prisoners from Homs Province, 186 detainees are from the Al-Aydeen camp.
