Relatives of Palestinian victims who were shot dead at the Turkish borders appeal to the ICRC to intervene and deliver their bodies

Family of the refugee "Hanan Hassan Moussa" who was shot dead with a group of Palestinian-Syrian refugees while trying to reach the Turkish territory, last Wednesday 17 February 2016, appealed to the International Committee of Red Cross ICRC, to intervene and release the bodies of the victims from the hospitals of south of Turkey.

According to the family of "Hanan" who contacted the AGPS; each one of “Hanan Hassan Moussa," and “Amena Yosef" and " Imad Azzouz" residents of Al-Sayeda Zeinab camp has been shot by Turkish border guards while trying to cross the borders, where the victim was trying to reunite with her daughters in Germany.

The family confirmed that the bodies are still in a morgue in a hospital south of Turkey, and appealed to the Red Cross to work on the repatriation of them to Syria to be buried in the cemetery of Al-Sayida Zaynab camp in Damascus Countryside.

A few days ago the AGPS reported the incident, but at the time "Maram Marwan Mohammed" was the only known victim, she was accompanied by others shot dead while trying to enter Turkish territory from an area controlled by Kurdish groups.
