Aleppo’s main road through Khanasser was blocked yesterday, this road links the city of Aleppo with Hama and Damascus Cities, and provides goods and various materials to Aleppo and Al-Nayrab camp, the road closed after violent clashes between the regime’s army and groups loyal to it on one hand and the armed opposition groups on the Other hand, during which the nearby village of "Rasm Alnakel" was seized as well.
Residents of Al-Neirab camp expressed their great concern about the results of cutting the road and stopping the entry of goods, that could cause a new crisis and raise the prices, which consequently will increase the burdens on Palestinian refugees in Aleppo and Al Nairab camp.
As a reminder, the camp is witnessing a state of instability and insecurity due to the tension and clashes in the adjacent areas. The position of Al-Nayrab camp next to the military airport turned it into a strategic location for both parties in conflict, therefore it has been subjected many times previously to bombing and shooting and clashes that caused deaths among civilians.
