Human Rights Report of AGPS: 70% of Dara Camp’s Buildings Are Destroyed

AGPS confirmed, in its human rights report which will be released in the coming days under the title "Palestine refugees in Daraa.. bitter reality and hard choices" that (70%) of the houses of the camp had been destroyed almost entirely due to the shelling and raids targeted the camp.

The human rights report monitors the most important events endured by PRS either inside the camps of Dara or outside such as the town of Al-Muzeireeb, during the time period between March 2011 and the mid of March 2016, through three main sections covered the mentioned areas in terms of location, boundaries, census and the attempts of managing the crisis, not forgetting to provide statistical data on victims and detainees documented by monitoring and documentation team in the AGPS.

Head of Studies Department, Ibrahim Al-Ali, pointed out that the report has been conducted depending on field reports collected through a network of correspondents in the Palestinian camps.

It is noteworthy that the Palestinians in the city of Daraa southern Syria had been affected by the conflict at very early stages, since the outbreak of the Syrian revolution was from the city of Daraa on March 2011.
