Tangible reduction in numbers of PRS families in Lebanese Bekaa.

In Lebanon, AGPS correspondent reported that the number of PRS families in Lebanese Bekaa has been reduced recently to 850 according to some relief associations working the region, this number used to be around 2500 in 2013, dropped to 1800 in 2014, continued decreasing to 870 families at the beginning of 2016.

Activists attributed the cause to the refugees’ trend to leave the country either to migrate and claim asylum in Europe, or to go back to Syria, explaining the conditions in Lebanon as “Unbearable”.

It is noteworthy that the number of PRS living in Lebanon is 42.500 according to the UNRWA’s statistics.
