AGPS’ monitoring and documentation team has documented 156 victims of Palestinians conscripted in the PLA (Palestine Liberation Army) in Syria, all of them killed while fighting alongside Syrian regime.
Tal Kurdi and Tal Assawan regions between Adra and Douma Cities as well as Al-Swaida Province are the hottest points of contact in which many were killed.
Army Chief of Staff “Tarek Al-Khadraa” assured, more than once, that the PLA is fighting alongside the regime’s army in 15 different places since the start of the conflict.
It is noteworthy that Palestinian youth are obliged by law, since decades, to serve in the PLA for two years each, otherwise, they could be arrested and jailed, this brought many of them to flee the country and claim asylum in Europe.
