Activists warned the PRS in Lebanon from being subjected to fraud by scammers who offer fake entry visas to Turkey and take advantage of the very high demand on such services in light of unbearable situations in Lebanon. Noting that the Turkish Embassies had stopped granting entry visas to PRS since the beginning of 2014 without further explanation.
Many PRS inpiduals and families were detained in Ataturk airport after discovering the fake visas, activists added.
It is noteworthy that the visas granting stoppage pushed thousands of PRS to risk their lives and pass the land routes and cross the borders illegally towards Turkey and Europe afterwards.
