Though many of the camps are still under regime’s control but still suffering from living hardships such as the high prices and the widespread unemployment which push many of the PRS youth to migrate and persue their dreams abroad.
Other camps suffer from very miserable conditions such as the Al-Yarmouk Camp which is subjected to tightened siege for 1005 days caused the death of 186 victims due to hunger and lack of medical care. This siege pushed civilians inside the camp to eat kinds of grass and get infected by many diseases such as kidney’s and blood diseases as well as the nutrition.
While in Sbiena camp, residents are still forbidden from returning back to their homes, the same like Handarat camp’s residents.
