Al-Wafaa European Campaign in cooperation with the “Al-Waqf Foundation” from Netherlands distributed food aid to PRS families living in Adana City south of Turkey, while “The Islamic Association” from Palestine 1948 lands distributed cash assistance as well as meat parcels to families in Mersin, where it intends to continue towards Iskandaron, Kilis and Reyhanli Cities, according to the association officials.
It is noteworthy that the number of PRS in Turkey is estimated at 6.000 to 8.000 refugees living in Istanbul and provinces of mid and south Turkey according to the AGPS’ semi-annual report issued last January.
