The UNRWA has announced its intention to distribute 100$ as housing allowance to all PRS families in Lebanon for four months, starting from March.
The agency, in its press release, announced that it managed to collect the needed funding through its emergency appeal for Syria 2016, and that the refugees’ ATM cards should be charged starting from 21 March 2016.
It is noteworthy that the UNRWA had cut its housing allowance previously under the pretext of failure of donors' commitments, and cut the cash assistance to 1200 PRS families since October 2014.
