In south Damascus, where the medical compound announced diagnosing the first case of Jaundice in Al-Yarmouk Camp since the beginning of this year, confirming that the diagnosis occurred on Wednesday 16 March 2016 after conducting medical tests on a 5-year-old girl in the camp.
The medical compound’s report assured that diseases and epidemics were dormant at winter season, and expected to show up again by the start of summer season.
The Medical compound had diagnosed the first case of Typhoid this year on 1 March 2016, and expressed its serious fears of spreading diseases with the approach of summer season, especially and in light of clean water shortage.
