In Homs City, where the Syrian Security forces have released the chief of the Palestinian Sports Union, Couch “Mohammad Shihada Al-Shaabi” after being detained for four hours, during which he was interrogated in the Political Security Branch of Homs Camp.
Al-Shaabi is a one of the players of football team “Al-Wathba” in Homs, and still working as Sports Teacher in UNRWA’s schools at the same time, known in his eagerness to hold sport activities in the camp despite the security conditions, noting that his is in his sixties, and originally descends from Ain-Azzayton village of Safad City in Palestine.
