The surrounding countries of Syria are still denying entry to Palestinians from Syria despite the dangerous circumstances inside Syria which threatens the refugees’ lives.
The Jordanian authorities forbid PRS’ entry with no exceptions at all, while the Lebanese authorities put incapacitate terms on entry and allows exceptional cases such as the European Embassies appointments’ holders or the flight reservations’ holders.
Regarding Turkey, apart from the third-country-residency holders, the authorities have stopped granting visas to PRS about two years ago without any further explanation, this forced thousands to pass the land route and risk their lives while crossing the borders illegally.
