Few activists who managed to enter Sbiena camp recently, confirmed that around 80 percent of the camp’s houses and properties are almost completely destroyed, specifically, the area between Muaz Bin Jabal mosque down to Al-Akrad Bakery, which constitutes the western entrance of the camp. As for the rest of the camp they said the area is in a better condition but still needs reparations.
Houses of those who are affiliated to the opposition forces are either destroyed or burned down, activists confirm.
The regime’s army and its affiliated groups are still preventing residents from returning to their houses since 7 November 2013, when the regime imposed full control over the camp following violent clashes with the opposition.
