Al-Yarmouk camp has witnessed mutual clashes and sniping between ISIS and Al-Nusra. Both of the fighting parties have raised blinding curtains on roads’ intersections, dug holes through the walls and shops in Lubiya street to facilitate the mobility across neighborhoods away from sniper shots.
Clashes have taken place at the 15th street, Haifa, Jaouna, and Safad streets inside the camp, where ISIS is trying to cut the supply-routes of Al-Nusra Front.
Activists said, at least one youth was shot by a sniper near Abdulqader Al-Hossayni Mosque. While ISIS managed to impose its control over Al-Orouba barrier which pides the Al-Yarmouk from Yalda Town. In the meantime, unremitting attempts is going on to end the tension.
Activists reported two youths affiliated to the Al-Nusra executed by ISIS after being arrested from Al-Qadam Neighborhood.
it is noteworthy that ISIS and Al-Nusra Front had imposed their mutual control over the camp since April 2015 after eliminating Al-Aknaf Brigades. While the Syrian regime is still besieging the camp for 1027 days, cutting electricity for 1088 day, and water for 577 days.
