In Aleppo, where the surrounding areas of Handarat camp have witnessed violent clashes between the regime’s and opposition’s forces as the former is still trying to restore control over the camp.
Handarat camp is still empty of its inhabitants who were forced to leave their houses following a battle ended up by the opposition’s control over the camp, 1076 days ago.
Since then, the opposition did not allow the residents to go back to their houses, in turn, the camp was exposed to frequent bombing by explosive barrels dropped from regime’s warplanes which destroyed around 80% of the camp’s properties.
