Clashes between the Residents and the Monopolist Merchants of Yelda Town.

Violent clashes broke out yesterday in the Yarmouk camp between groups affiliated to the Syrian opposition alongside with the residents and the merchants of Yelda town supported with other groups affiliated to the Syrian opposition. The clashes came after the merchants, and those who support them, monopoly all food supplies and raising its prices for several times, taking advantage of the suffering of the Yarmouk siege imposed by the regular army and groups of the General Command. Therefore, the people of Yarmouk had to engage in a verbal argument with the merchants, which rapidly turned into violent clashes between them, resulted in an injury of a child.

The residents complain of the suspension of food aids provided by UNRWA for the sixth week respectively, after the clashes that broke out between the Syrian armed opposition forces and the regular army alongside with the Palestinian groups during the beginning of distributing food aids, in addition to the sniping that targeted the residents and resulted in some victims and injuries, As the conflict parties recriminating and assuming the responsibility to each other, while the result is the suspension of food aids.
