Activists and family of the Palestinian refugee "Walid Abu Raya," who is detained in the Syrian regime's prisons, appealed the Palestinian factions, the Palestinian Ambassador, and the General Authority for Refugees to intervene to reveal his destiny and to ensure his return to his family unharmed.
This appeal came after he was arrest at one of the regime's checkpoints at Al Kiswa area in Damascus suburb on 2015- 11-26 while he was leaving the capital Damascus for treatment after he was injured in the head while fixing an electrical fault in Khan Al Shieh camp. He is one of the volunteers in the electricity reform team at Khan Al Shieh camp; he is married with three children.
1068 Palestinian prisoners in the Syrian regime's prisons are still unaccounted for, including 108 detainees from Khan Al Shieh camp, who mostly were arrested at the Syrian regime checkpoints, especially Koukab checkpoint, in Sehnaya, Jadedat Artouz, and entrances of Khan Camp.
