In Aleppo, violent clashes are still continuous in the vicinity of Handarat camp between the Syrian armed opposition groups on the one hand and the forces of the regular army alongside "al-Quds Brigade" on the other hand, where the latter is seeking to impose its control over the camp.
On the other hand, Palestinian militants accused al-Quds Brigade of recruiting a group of young Palestinian refugees from Al Nairab and Handarat camps, and send them to the battlefront under the pretext of liberating Handarat camp and protecting the Palestinian camps. Many victims died during these battles, where the Palestinian youth, "Ahmed Abou Khashaba," who did not finish his 16th years, died a few days ago during Hndarat camp battles. The armed opposition groups broadcasted a videotape of what it claimed victims from a group loyal to the regime who were killed in the camp battles.
The camp is completely empty, where residents were forced to leave due to violent clashes that broke out between the regime and opposition forces, before about 1076 days. The clashes ended with the opposition control over camp, which in turn prevents people from returning to the camp since that period. The Syrian regime targeted the camp frequently by explosive barrels throughout that period, which resulted in the destruction of approximately 80% of the camp's houses.
