The Palestinians of Syria Strained at the Macedonian Borders Demands the European Governments to Receive them

The Palestinian Syrian refugees trapped at the Macedonian Greek border called on the international organizations, human rights organizations, and the PLO to intervene in order to help them and put pressure on the European governments to receive them in their own countries. They also called for improving their living conditions, where a refugee described the humanitarian situation as dire, as they are living the worst days of their lives, as he described, as a result of the lack of accommodation for all refugees

He added that many of them slept in the open and sat on the ground exposing them to disease and the risk of deadly animals such as snakes, which resulted in a state of frustration and depression. He pointed out that the number of Palestinians of Syria stranded on the Greek Macedonian border, who arrived before the validity of the Turkish agreement with the European Union, has amounted to about (160) people, including 104 from the Yarmouk refugee camp, 5 from Al Nairab camp, 33 from Deraa, Muzareib, and Jellen camps, 10 refugees from Handarat camp, and 8 refugees from Al Aedein camp in Homs, while the number of children amounted at 57 children.
