Announcement about the Start of Updating Data of the Palestinians of Syria Displaced in Ein Al Hilwa Camp

In Lebanon, the Union of Islamic relief organizations announced the start of data update for the  displaced Palestinian Syrians living in Ein Al Hilwa refugee camp, and who are registered starting from Monday, 02.05.2016 until Saturday, 05/21/2016. The Union pointed out that the Palestinians of Syria should bring the registration card of the Islamic institutions Union, personal identities, or passports, and the original cards of entering Lebanon,  stressing that updating data to be by (father, mother, one adult children, single, ), noting that restrictions will be canceled for each person who has not update his data.

Union of Islamic relief organizations revealed, in the statistics prepared at the beginning of 2016, that the number of Palestinian families displaced from Syria in Ein Al Hilwa refugee camp in Sidon, southern Lebanon has reached about 870 families, noting that the number of families has dropped sharply, pointing out that the number of families lived in the camp in 2014 had reached 2,500 families, while the number decrease in 2015 to 1400 family, while at the beginning of 2016 the number has reached 870 families.

AGPS correspondent explained that the reason for the decline in numbers Attributed to the tense security situation at Ein Al Hilwa camp between now and then, and to demand of Palestinians of Syria to leave the Palestinian camps in Lebanon seeking for humanitarian asylum in Western countries. Some families preferred to return to where It came as a result of the difficult living conditions and lack of services provided to them.
