Under the title "Aleppo is Yarmouk," A number of activists in the besieged Yarmouk refugee camp implemented a sit-in to show their solidarity with the people of Aleppo yesterday, Sunday, 1 May. They showed discontent on the silence of the international community, considering what is happening in Aleppo "a crime against humanity, as they called on the international community to intervene immediately to stop violations against children, women, and innocent people in Syria.
Children of Yarmouk painted their faces with red to denote the massacres committed against the people of Aleppo as a result of the Syrian regime and Russian continuous shelling at the city. The children performed scenes mimic the humanitarian situation afflicting the people of Aleppo in moments of aerial bombardment, as an expression of sympathy with the victims.
