Activists reported news to the AGPS of forming a new Palestinian armed faction called "Galilee forces," the military wing of Shabab Al Awda Group led by a displaced young man from khan Dannun camp, Fadi Al Malah, and his deputy Abu Ali Badran, pointing out that the movement, which was founded on May 15, 2011, is working to attract young people from khan dannun camp in particular and other camps controlled by the Syrian Regime in general.
The new faction attracts young people by big sums of money as a part of a campaign they called (Al Wafaa Bel Wafaa) in order to attach them in its military wing to fight alongside the regular army forces.
These forces have participated in several battles with the Syrian regime, most notably Talat Mousa and Al Talaha battle, and the storm of Talat Al Blokoshat and Talat Al Khasheaa in Al Lathakeia city, which resulted in the injury of many residents of khan Dannun in this battle, including Abu Ali Badran. A number of Palestinian factions and armed formations are fighting alongside the Syrian regime.
