Clashes and Bombing between ISIS and AL Nusra in Yarmouk

In South of the Syrian capital, Damascus, violent clashes and mutual sniping broke out in the Yarmouk camp for Palestinian Refugees between ISIS and AL Nusra front.

A resident reported to the AGPS that sporadic clashes broke out between the two parts using light weapons and mortar shells. The AGPS correspondent reported casualties among the two parts, in addition to burning some houses in Safad Street. On the other hand, dozens of families, who are trapped in their houses due to clashes, are still suffer from difficult living situation due to the unavailability of food, medicine and water. Meanwhile, the Yarmouk camp, which is besieged by the Regular Army since mid-2013, is suffering from a sharp shortage of food materials and medicines which caused the death of 187 refugees.

The population has declined due to the fighting in Yarmouk camp from 220000,  before the Syrian MIG Warplanes shelling at the end of December 2012, to about 18000 and then to 6000 after the invasion of ISIS to the camp in 1/4/2015.
