Palestinian Refugees at Deraa and Muzareeb Concern of the Ongoing Assassinations

In southern Syria, a situation of growing concern among Palestinian refugees in general, and in Muzeireeb especially, due to the increasing pace of assassinations rate, which was described by a residents as "threatens the town," for the fact that the actor and the party that stands behind them are unknown in a state of security chaos taking place in the entire region,.  The latest assassination was against the citizen, "Wael Mohamed Al Masri," in the town of Muzeireeb while he was leaving the mosque.

Activists have confirmed that 38 assassinations occurred during the past two months in Daraa, including 12 assassinations during April, including Palestinian refugees, while activists accuse, Syrian security forces of being behind the assassination, and planting explosive devices in the opposition controlled areas.

 Others attributed the assassinations as private considerations among the opposition groups, but other activists accuse the foreign intelligence services operating in the southern regions of Syria, according to them.

It is noteworthy that the AGPS has documented 339 victims of Palestinian refugees from Daraa, including 31 from Al Muzareeb compound, which is inhabited with about 8,500 Palestinian refugees.
