A Medical Campaign for the Displaced People of Yarmouk at the Adjacent Towns

Charity Commission for Relief of Palestinian People, in cooperation with the Palestine Red Crescent Society, organized a medical campaign under the title "First Medical Week." The campaign aims to provide medical and therapeutic services, alleviate the suffering of patients, and provide drugs for residents of the Yarmouk refugee camp who are displaced to the towns of Yalda, Babbila, and Beit Sahem south of Damascus.

 The Charity Commission, in collaboration with the Red Crescent, opened a comprehensive clinics and a nearby pharmacy containing hundreds of essential medicines to be distributed free of charge. Three doctors participate in the campaign, as they entered the capital Damascus through Babbila - Sedi Mekdad checkpoint. .

It should be noted that people in the besieged south of Damascus, in general, and the Yarmouk camp, in particular, suffers from a severe shortage of medicines and medical emergency materials, as a result of the Syrian regime, and affiliated groups prevention. Meanwhile, pressure and diabetes patients remain without medication or treatment due to the continued use of drug.
