Activists and residents of Neirab camp in Aleppo accused the so-called al-Quds Brigade, the pro-Syrian regime, of recruiting the residents of the camp and involving them in battles against armed opposition groups and sending them away from Palestinian refugee camps to the battlefront with the regular army under the pretext of protecting camps. They sent them back to their families as bodies for burial. Members of this brigade established checkpoints at Neirab, and arrested Palestinian youth, as well as they opened prison in the camp to arrest some youths.
This brigade includes Palestinian refugees from Neirab and fighters from Handarat and western and northern Aleppo, in addition to Al Shabah Al Aswad and Al Qumsan Al Soud Battalions. The headquarters of this brigade is at Neirab, and a branch was opened in Al Raml Camp in Lathakia. Maj. Gen. Commander tried opening military branches in the Palestinian camps in Damascus, but the presence of pro- Syrian regime Palestinian groups in Damascus prevented this.
