16 explosive barrels targeted different areas at the outskirts of Khan Al Shieh camp in the western suburb of Damascus yesterday.
The shelling came in light of the Regular Army continuous closing of all roads linking the camp with the adjacent areas and towns including Zakia-Khan Al Shieh road, which was targeted continuously with machineguns.
Closing the roads deteriorated the humanitarian and health situation, while residents were prevented from health and emergency services almost completely, in addition to the severe shortage of basic materials; such as bread.
For their part, dozens of residents appealed all relief institutions in Syria to urgently provide the besieged refugees with aid relating to medication and baby milk.
