Squadron of Russian aircrafts carried out more than 14 raids over Handarat camp in the southern suburb of Aleppo, coincided with violent clashes between the Syrian Army alongside Al Quds brigades and the armed opposition groups using all kinds of light and heavy weapons.
Local media resources reported the death of more than 30 members of Al Quds brigade, pointing out that the corpses filled the streets, while the opposition fighters managed to besiege a group of Al Quds brigade. More than 50 fighters from Al Quds brigades were killed in a previous explosion at Al Zahraa area in Aleppo on Tuesday 3\5\2016.
A video was published by "AlZinki" brigade showed violent clashes, as tens of the Regular Army members and Al Quds brigade were escaping. The armed opposition forces imposed control over all areas of Handarat camp.
Al Quds brigade group, which is almost Palestinians, announced the day before yesterday, the start of a military campaign in participation of hundreds of fighters and groups of the regular Army. The campaign was titled as "Liberating Handarat Camp in the Northern suburb of Damascus." The brigade implemented previous campaigns in cooperation with the Regular Army yet it failed breaking into the camp and imposing control.
The camp is completely empty after the residents were forced to leave their houses following violent clashes broke out between the Regime and the opposition forces before about 1107 days. The clashes ended with the opposition control over the camp, while the camp was repeatedly bombed with explosive barrels and rockets resulting in the destruction of almost 70% of the camp's houses.
