Graduation of New Group of Paramedics and Lifeguards in Light of the Deteriorated Health Condition at Muzareeb South of Syria

The graduation party embodied the dire situation and suffering at the besieged camp of Khan Al Shieh. Meanwhile, a number of activities in the 68 anniversary of Nakba were held at AL Aedein camp in Homs and Hama, where people expressed adherence to the right of return, and raised the Palestinian flag.

The Palestine Charity Committee, in cooperation with Ambulance System at Muzareeb town south of Syria, implemented a graduation ceremony for 35 male and female Paramedics and Lifeguards.

The ceremony included imitation of rescuing two drowning people and how to provide first aid without any devices. At the end, the Committee recited the graduation statement and offered gifts for the participants.

On the other hand, the Palestinian refugees at Deraa, Muzareeb, Jellin, Tal Shihab, and other areas at Deraa governorate south of Syria complain of deteriorated health condition due to the 4-year war that resulted in a complete collapse of the medical system of hospitals, medical centers, cadres.

Moreover, the opposition poor management at the southern parts they control, in addition to the lack of mechanisms that would facilitate the residents affairs at all levels. Not to mention the severe shortage of medication and medical equipment needed for first aid, as well as the lack of ambulance cars.
